Yapping Random Video Chat uses anonymous video chat technology built on WebRTC for live stranger chat with low latency. When possible, media travels over encrypted peer-to-peer (P2P) connections so your cam-to-cam stream stays between you and your matched partner — not stored on our servers as a continuous recording.
Signaling and random video matching run over secure transports (TLS). If a direct P2P path is unavailable, a TURN relay may be used only to complete the session — still without publishing your feed publicly.
Moderation, reporting & zero tolerance
We treat live video as a high-trust surface. Automated signals and community reporting work together to reduce illicit feeds, spam, and abuse on anonymous video chat.
- Zero-tolerance policy: Nudity, sexual exploitation, harassment, threats, and illegal content are prohibited. Sessions can end immediately and repeat offenders may be banned.
